Speaker 1:Good morning. At 6-Eleven it feels very cold. Another Arctic blast is coming in this week. Why do we need another Arctic blast?
Speaker 2:I don't know.
Speaker 1:I think we've had plenty for the year. I think we're done.
Speaker 2:What is it February?
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:What month is it?
Speaker 1:Do what? What month is it? It feels more like middle of winter, but we still are in winter, but we're just a few weeks away from what should be spring. But this week, yeah, there's even a chance of a wintry mix Wednesday morning.
Speaker 2:Oh, like snow.
Speaker 1:Possibly some snow flurries Wednesday morning. Now the latest forecast calls for a little better chance from Huntsville into Tennessee, but Wednesday morning you could drive into work and it could be slick spots and black ice. Shouldn't last long, though, because Wednesday afternoon's high will be in the low 40s, so whatever falls will melt away quickly.
Speaker 2:And it is cold outside this morning it is cold.
Speaker 1:We were outside much yesterday with the wind blowing. That's one of the coldest afternoons.
Speaker 2:I know. We went to church yesterday morning with girls and Harlow's friend and we had to park like basically five miles away from the church.
Speaker 1:Oh, my goodness, you had to shuttle yourself in, okay, no, we just had to walk.
Speaker 2:No, we had to walk.
Speaker 1:Oh, my goodness.
Speaker 2:Five miles in the snow. Uphill, uphill and barefoot. Oh no, we really did have to park at the end of the parking lot. Yeah, and I just had them in long sleeves. I had no idea they needed long sleeves, jackets, boggans, gloves, galoshes.
Speaker 1:Wow, you could have lost the entire family.
Speaker 2:Almost, almost did.
Speaker 1:Look, doug is smart, he stayed at home.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he stayed at home.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but you're right, and the wind was cold. It's going to be a better day today. At least it'll be sunny. There is no sun yesterday. No chance of rain today. Chance of rains at least 46. Tomorrow, 52, will be your best day. Then again, wednesday morning it looks more like Huntsville North, but there is a chance we should know more by this time tomorrow of what we're going to see. It shouldn't be a major problem not supposed to be but you could have a slick spot. You may have some school delays, who knows?
Speaker 2:Who knows, we don't know, I know.
Speaker 1:I guess what school's out today, Washington's birthday, President's Day, which I don't understand.
Speaker 2:Why are we still celebrating.
Speaker 1:I know he was the first. It's like a combination of Washington and Lincoln.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I get it.
Speaker 1:I know, but like, why are we celebrating Just another holiday for the government?
Speaker 2:What is it? The third Monday in February, I guess. I think it is always the third Monday, I guess.
Speaker 1:So schools are out for the most part and, uh, some people who gets off work. For this I mean the government, I get it, but not us. Business is closed, why I guess it's just a good break, I don't know.
Speaker 2:Washington's birthday are y'all celebrating? Are y'all getting them a cake?
Speaker 1:yeah, boy, yeah, but anyway the the weather later in the week it gets better. But don't, don't forget for Thursday actually Wednesday night and Thursday night, I'm going to throw this in there the lows will be in the teens 16. Another Arctic blast and then it's supposed to be moving out of here. Weekend looks much better. The next week you're getting back to normal. So just another few days of an Arctic blast. So this morning it's cold. 29 to to fort payne 31 gadsden 30 here at qsp.
Speaker 2:So did you have a good valentine's day? Um yes? Music sounded good yeah all the breakup songs yeah, I would love that that was fun had a lot of comments about those yeah, uh. Yeah, I had a good one. I um got a couple things from the girls, I made me some stuff at school and so, yeah, it was good that's sweet, it was fine.
Speaker 1:He just told me I didn't expect anything, didn't get anything. So at least I wasn't disappointed, it's just another day it was uh. And then the next big contest coming up soon. Actually, we have a big announcement wednesday morning yes, we do yeah, concert news. It's probably the first big concert announcement of the of so far. Yeah, for sure. And it's going to tie in with us telling you who it is, where they're going to be, and then we'll start giving away tickets. Win them before you can buy them, that's all we can say.
Speaker 2:Yep. It's one I'd like to go to oh yeah, I would definitely like to go to this one.

They were showing on the news last night about how americans spend our money and they say the 2025 is off to a good year for many as far as financially good, but they say on average. On average, every year, the average household will spend $77,000 on stuff, so you need to make at least that much to be able to pay your bills.
Speaker 2:That's a lot of money. That's a lot of money just to be able to, I mean look at some of this stuff, let's see where you fall.
Speaker 1:The number one thing we spend money on is housing, of course, whether your rent or your monthly payment, whether you rent or buy or rent, let's see. Transportation is number two, your vehicle, vehicle, okay. Then personal insurance. Insurance is number three that we spend money on, whether it's health, car, home, all of those combined, yep, yep.
Speaker 2:Got that one. That's a lot Check.
Speaker 1:Health care is next doctor bills, things like that Check. Health care is next doctor bills, things like that Check. Then, to get into something that's interesting food at home $6,000 a year, but food away from home $4,000. Oh, that's opposite for me, because being alone I don't make that much at home.
Speaker 2:I know it's cheaper for me to go out and buy a meal. Yeah, what did you eat for dinner last night?
Speaker 1:Last night Last night, I don't even remember actually oh actually, I do A Mexican pizza from Taco Bell.
Speaker 2:Uh-huh, see how much was that. Five bucks, five bucks. Yeah See, I ate two eggs, which was approximately 50 bucks, and then a yogurt and blueberries 50?
Speaker 1:Wow, so I ate cheaper than you.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you did. Yeah, probably for real.
Speaker 1:So do you agree with that? Because, being with the girls, $6,000 at home a year, that's a lot.
Speaker 2:That's a lot of money, but I do believe it, yeah. Yes, I believe it Because it's about $100 to $150 each grocery trip and that's every Friday. Yeah, so it's that.
Speaker 1:Sometimes it's easier to make it at home, like, say, it's a hamburger helper.
Speaker 2:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1:You can feed the family with that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, if my girls liked it they could.
Speaker 1:No, no, they don't like it. Okay, entertainment almost $3,700 a year. Entertainment.

Speaker 2:Taking them to like Urban Air things like that? I guess maybe yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, cash contributions and apparel education, then miscellaneous. We spend $1,200 a year on miscellaneous. What would that be?
Speaker 2:Beer.
Speaker 1:Yeah, here's one that I'm reading Q-tips. Q-tips yeah Reading, $117 a year.
Speaker 2:Oh, I save money on that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't know. The last thing I bought to read. I have books but For, but for looks. Yeah, they're for looks, because you got the taylor swift book for christmas. Yeah, so you didn't buy it. No, uh. Alcoholic beverages 637. Whoa, yeah, a year, that sounds low, does it a lot of people?
Speaker 2:god, that's. That's a lot of money yeah, that's like a weekend. Yeah, that's actually for real, though. That, though, that is really low.
Speaker 1:It really is.
Speaker 2:Alcohol is expensive. Yeah, I wonder what they're drinking. I don't know Are they drinking?
Speaker 1:PBRs Possibly.
Speaker 2:All right, crack one open if you want to. Anyway, this is interesting.
Speaker 1:They expect you to spend on average $77,000. Most families honestly don't make that much. I was about to say what is the minimum minimum wage and how much is that a year? It was nowhere near that. You're probably looking at 20 25 000. If you no add it up, let me okay say roughly, just say 11 an hour roughly.
Speaker 2:Okay, let's go. Okay, we'll go with 12 times 40. That's what 480 a week times 52, it says that the average is like $66,000.
Speaker 1:So you're $10,000 short, so that's why things are tough. We don't need times like eggs being so high. We don't need that.
Speaker 2:I know, come on eggs, like I ran out of my body spray that I love.
Speaker 1:Oh no.
Speaker 2:I know and I'm like I've got to be financially responsible.
Speaker 1:Got to run to Walgreens to get you another knockoff brand?
Speaker 2:No, I'm just not going to wear any. I'm not going to buy any of it.

Speaker 2:It's Sol de Janeiro from Ulta. It sounds fancy. It's not that fancy, gotcha. It's like 15 to 20 bucks Gotcha, but still I mean, sometimes you got to save that for eggs.

Speaker 1:Other things you need to know. Speaking of the stink, is it true it's National Cabbage Day?

Speaker 1:You always knew when Mama cooked cabbage. You could smell it out in the yard. I thought either Mother of Data's got stomach issues or it's Cabbage Day. One of the two, oh God, sometimes it's a combo.

Speaker 2:So I don't know what it is about cabbage and putting it on the skin, but I guess it's supposed to be a good thing.
Speaker 1:On your head. I'd rather be bald, I guess, than have to smell like cabbage head, would you? You want somebody to walk around and smell like cabbage on their head? I?
Speaker 2:think most men would want to smell like cabbage over a BMW.
Speaker 1:I've seen some toupees that look like bad cabbage yeah.

Speaker 2:The top cabbage dishes are number one coleslaw.
Speaker 1:I've never made coleslaw. I really didn't know. You used cabbage. I didn't know.
Speaker 2:I love it. And number two this is gross corned beef and cabbage. What is corned beef?
Speaker 1:I don't know. Look that up. Ew, no, I've never had that either.
Speaker 2:It's like van and sausages.

Speaker 2:Yeah, gross. And here's a little something extra in case you missed it the humane society of america has changed its name to human world for animals why?
Speaker 1:why so? Was somebody complaining that humane that sounds good. Humane society made your main humane to animals.
Speaker 2:Yeah, what are we going to say now?
Speaker 1:Human world for animals.
Speaker 2:Because in general conversation you'll be like oh, I need to call the Humane Society on them. Now, what is it? I'm going to call the Humane World for Animals.
Speaker 1:Yeah, now I've got to call them. I don't know about that that doesn't have a good ring to it.
Speaker 2:It doesn't. And here's something to think about. I thought about this over the weekend. Okay, if I was a professional hitman, just hear me out, are you no? But, if I was, I think I would change what they called me ordering takeout.
Speaker 1:So instead of you need to call the hitman.
Speaker 2:It would be order takeout Order takeout.
Speaker 1:That's more like a code name. I like that better Order takeout Like something in Mission Impossible. Yeah, he's ordering takeout, call Holly. I like that better Order takeout Like something in Mission Impossible.

Speaker 1:WQSB. Everybody made it through the storms okay. A lot of damage around the area and they nailed that one saying this line coming through was going to be destructive. I know Tuscumbia was hit very hard with the storms that came through, so hope everybody made it through okay. Hopefully nothing like that for a while. But they are saying, according to the long-range forecast they're predicting, with the La Nina I think it's what it's called coming up off the coast of California, it's going to affect our weather over the next few months. We may a more active than usual um spring as far as tornadoes and severe weather. It could even start earlier, like the end of this month.
Speaker 2:It may be even starting earlier than usual, not waiting until like march, april, may, but starting earlier I wasn't worried about the weather until, well, it woke me up around one with the thunder and lightning, and I wasn't worried about it until I realized you were up here doing live coverage. And then I was like, oh no.
Speaker 1:How did you know?
Speaker 2:Because I logged on the app.
Speaker 1:Oh, okay, I didn't know.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I logged on the app and then I called you and you put me on the side so I could just hear, and then you said, if you were in Guntersville, take shelter. And I shelter. And I was like girls, get up, get up now. Yes, yeah, because I was like that's a message to me yeah, because could you hear?
Speaker 1:the storm coming up because it went right over. Gunners were abordable boys. Oh yeah, I know, I think boaz had a little more damage as far as the mount hebron area it sounded like a freight train was about to come through the house, yeah that's what it was. I mean, it was the tornadoes radar indicated and there were like four warnings at one time across the listing area. It was crazy.
Speaker 2:That's so scary yeah.
Speaker 1:And luckily no one was injured, no one was killed, but a lot of damage around the area and a lot of people without power. Did you lose power at all?
Speaker 2:No, I didn't. Beth, who lives just like a mile or two away from me, lost charter for like 24 hours. Actually, I don't even know if they even got it back.
Speaker 1:Well, charter for uh like 24 hours. Actually, I don't even know if they even got it back. Well, that happens on a sunny day, but well yeah, it does.
Speaker 2:Thanks, charter. But anyway my charter didn't go out my cable. Nothing like happened, but I knew when I heard you on there it was like gotta listen. This is serious, because it was like one o'clock in the morning well, they thought it was gonna.
Speaker 1:As the storm line came through, they thought by say, the middle part of the storm line came through, they thought by say the middle part of the state, it would get weaker, it wouldn't be as bad. But it stayed so warm because it was like 66 degrees when I came in early Sunday morning and that's way too warm. It felt like walking out on the beach. It was so humid. That's why, when this line came through, it didn't weaken, it actually got stronger as it got to, like, say, cullman and moving into our listing area. So anyway, it was just too warm.
Speaker 2:I will say that is the first time I have talked to my friends at 2 o'clock in the morning in probably like 10 or 15 years, really, yeah, usually a little old mama asleep.
Speaker 1:What were y'all talking about?
Speaker 2:Like, hey, y'all up, y'all watching the weather.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:What's going on?
Speaker 1:Well good, I mean, we're glad we helped keep people safe. Yeah, I got a whole little network of people.
Speaker 2:Like my mama Beth, I got a whole little network of people that I check in with.
Speaker 1:So were they listening in the coverage.
Speaker 2:They were watching the coverage. But yeah, I was listening to the coverage because I didn't want. Well, first of all, I knew that what I can trust what you say more than what they say on tv, or I feel like I can.
Speaker 1:Well, I knew you messaged me wrong well, you messaged and I couldn't talk because it was only me in the room, yeah, so I wanted to be able to say hey, but I couldn't yeah so I just, it's okay, I'm going to call and put you on speaker and that way you could listen. That way, yeah, that worked. So I just tried to help because I knew it was coming towards your house.
Speaker 2:I know that's what you oh gosh that's so scary.
Speaker 1:I didn't mean to scare you, but I just tried to keep it safe.
Speaker 2:No, we're okay, Everything's okay.
Speaker 1:We're good, so what else is going on?
Speaker 2:A study from Georgetown and Stanford University. The sounds they tested workflow music, deep focus music, pop hits and office noise. 76 percent of people who listened to workflow music started to work faster and did a more accurate job, and pop music did not seem to boost the mood or positive productivity. This type of music seemed to distract listeners. When they found a song they knew uh-huh and sang along to that makes sense.
Speaker 1:It gets your mind off what you're doing and you don't pay attention as much. Yep, okay, what exactly is workflow music? Do we know?
Speaker 2:yeah, so it's about a tempo it's like 119 beats per minute. It has like a steady rhythm, simple, simple melody, no lyrics. Like you know how, when you call the doctor's office and they Okay, some of those hit hard. They do Like the.
Speaker 1:It's like I'm on hold. I know it's amazing. How'd you do that?
Speaker 2:That should just get me to record that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so that music is better to listen to than a song with actual lyrics that you may recognize and you may like.
Speaker 2:That's what they say. What kind of like? I guess just instrumental music is what it would be.
Speaker 1:Okay, what about you? Like you, you're back at your desk and you're working and you can hear QSP, but do you have any music or no music to be able to work better? What do you go with?
Speaker 2:QSP for real.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:When I first started. I'll be honest, when I first started I listened to a lot of Taylor Swift in the background and turned it down low Just because I was nervous and I was in a new place and everything felt odd and so I just wanted something familiar. But now it's WQSP that's familiar, and I think that a lot of people feel that way, that WQSP just feels like home.
Speaker 1:My brain is wired now I have to have something when I'm working at my desk, and it's usually QSP. It's wired where I can still hear it in the background, but I can also still do my job. Silence to me. I need something going on, yeah.
Speaker 2:See, for an hour while I'm cutting on the podcast, I can't have any noise or I can't hear the breaks, gotcha. And then, once I'm done uploading the podcast, I just want qsb playing, because it's like all the songs that I know. It's like it's replaced that comfortable feel and I love our commercials and our drops and our breaks.
Speaker 1:We just we got it going on, man, I think so, and now that you've learned how to help with the music, now it kind of gives you a bit different appreciation of when you hear us tom thinking, yeah, that song shouldn't have played there or it should have played. It helps you a little bit.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Listen closer to the music, yeah.
Speaker 2:There's one song, you know it. I'd take it all the way out.
Speaker 1:It's hit number one, by the way, very soon Tomorrow For real, totally.
Speaker 2:Even my girls like it. It drives me insane. Orange juice consumption is down by more than half since the late 1900s or 1990s sorry, 1990s. So do you drink orange juice?
Speaker 1:I do. But do you really consider Sunny Delight, orange juice, sunny D, because if you look at the details it's mostly not good for you.
Speaker 2:No, I can't drink orange juice because of sugar and the acid yeah it gives me a green yeah, obstacles for the orange juice include a high sugar content, rising prices, so it's like one of those things I can do without. So I'm not going to spend the extra six, seven bucks and recent hurricanes toll on florida citrus industry.
Speaker 1:So it's going downhill, then yeah, it's all going downhill in a handbasket. All right, 636.

Speaker 1:Over the weekend. Captain America the reviews weren't kind, but people still wanted to see it. So, Captain America, brave New World had a big opening weekend, right.
Speaker 2:Yeah, starring's starring Anthony Mackey and Harrison Ford. It's coming off to a strong start with an opening of $100 million.
Speaker 1:Wow, that's pretty good, it's a record they're saying for like President's Day weekend and people are surprised saying you know the reviews were bad.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but it still did well. I don't know that's one of those all rent from home, yeah.
Speaker 1:I'd probably watch that at home, yeah.
Speaker 2:Number two was Paddington in Peru. Brought in $13 million, looks cute. And number three was Heart Eyes. With $10 million, we watched that one.
Speaker 1:It's good, it's good.
Speaker 2:I liked it. I think that it was a little too.
Speaker 1:Cheesy Yep. They meant for it to be.
Speaker 2:I know, but it was like Too much. What are the scary movies? Is that what it's called Scary movie? Yeah, and they're like.
Speaker 1:Yeah, well, they're trying to be funny on purpose.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's trying to be funny, but it's like.
Speaker 1:It went too much back and forth. Scary, funny, but it was good. It was different.
Speaker 2:I liked the first hour of it more than I liked the last 30 minutes of it.
Speaker 1:I did too. The opening scene is pretty good where they're in the vineyard. Yes, that's pretty scary. That's a good one. Yeah, that's a good scene.
Speaker 2:Steven Spielberg and Chris Columbus are set to produce a sequel to the 1985 classic.
Speaker 1:The Goonies. Did you ever see the Goonies? Of course I love the Goonies. Yeah, did you see where they got together week? I think it's about a week ago for some uh, I forget some award show.
Speaker 2:No, most of the cast members were there. Oh, and it looks good and the rumor has a lot of the original cast members will be in the new one. Oh, that's good. It doesn't have details about the storyline, but I'm excited for that, that's gonna be good yeah and then max has renewed the medical drama the pit starring. No, no while for a second season. I haven't seen it.
Speaker 1:I've seen the previews it looks good. I haven't seen it. I've seen the previews, it looks good, but I haven't seen that yet. I haven't watched it yet.

They say that the search is underway to try to stop these what they're calling the most destructive animals, to cross the border in years. It's a fast-growing population of wild hogs that biologists are calling super pigs. Now they have American border states on guard pigs. Now they have american border states on guard. Experts say they post a multi-billion dollar threat to the economy because they're so destructive. Now one of the leading authorities on super pigs. So there's now an authority on super pigs that's what the story says do you just bill yourself as that, saying?
Speaker 1:I think I'm the world's most uh leading authority on super pig yeah, how do you, how do you get to be the lead? I don't know on that. Well, they're cross breeds, they're domestic pigs, but they're breeding with wild boars. Oh, they're saying they're bigger, smarter and they're pro prolific breeders. What?
Speaker 2:does that mean oh uh does it mean they're good at it. It means they're good at breeding. Wow yeah, it's prolific.
Speaker 1:Okay, and the population is spreading out of control. They will eat anything to survive, anything and everything in their path. They tear up land and reproduce quickly, with devastating consequences to ranchers and farmers, and they also charge at humans with no fear, much like a wild boar. So they look more like a pig, but they're bigger, they're big pigs, super pigs, and they'll come at you.
Speaker 2:Would you be scared if you came across one? I?
Speaker 1:think I would, because wild boars, they can kill you.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:But this is like a regular pig. That looks like a pig, it sounds like a pig.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh. I just pulled up pictures of them.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they're scary, you see it looks scary what if you walk outside? One came charging at you. I'd yell super pig and throw a cape on his back so I'm wondering if you were to eat one of these this is bacon from one of these super pigs would it give humans a little extra, a little extra oomph as far as some uh.
Speaker 2:A little bit of power.
Speaker 1:Superpowers.
Speaker 2:Yeah, a little bit of super pig power.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:What kind of super pig powers do you think they have?
Speaker 1:It says they. Well, they can eat anything in their path. So they have a great, amazing eating ability.

Speaker 1:I don't know, because I really don't know. You like a pig type name like suey suey yeah, it could be suey man wilbur yeah, wilbur the pig yeah, wilbur the pig yeah yeah, big boy, the big boy, super pig.

Speaker 1:these getting across the border they just walk probably running Probably running, probably running, yeah. Do they fly?
Speaker 2:I mean that would be something.

Speaker 2:I'm saying If I came across one, I'd throw a cape over its back and see what happens.
Speaker 1:It's like the old saying, when pigs fly, well, maybe they're about two.
Speaker 2:Maybe they are. Maybe they've got a little emblem on their chest and little carved regard. Six packs. Yeah, six packs and it has the big S on it, like Superman.
Speaker 1:I'd like to see one of those. I'd go to the zoo for that, it says SP.

Speaker 1:But imagine this that's the next thing A pig that flies. You have to rethink all those things you said I'll I don't want to visit that. Yeah, if you said that over Valentine's Day weekend, well, you're in trouble now.

Speaker 3:Yeah, I watched a lot of highlights. I was talking to y'all about the Adam Sandler song. He was going through all the characters and how long that they've been there. He got choked up there at the end. And then I watched the Lady Gaga and Andy Samberg part. That one was pretty good In the box.
Speaker 2:Is she on that? What's the?
Speaker 3:shallow.
Speaker 1:They started singing that.
Speaker 2:I'm from the Stars.
Speaker 3:He was like I don't sing this good do I? She's like no, he's like well, I got an idea. They started going through it. That was well done.
Speaker 1:yeah, that's well done so anyway, if you missed it, the peacock, I guess, has got them both. So and then even the one friday night I was showing a holly or uh post, malone came on stage on the the concert part of it and did uh smells like teen spirit with nirvana. Yeah, that's good, kind of a flashback that was good the music was the singing part. When he began screaming, he might have made up new lyrics. I don't know what he was saying.
Speaker 2:It was good, other than the screaming parts. He started out strong.
Speaker 3:Yeah, he was feeling his Cobain, his internal Cobain Did you see him stick his cigarette in his guitar strings.

Speaker 2:What have you got today? When it comes to eating, less than one out of five people eat at the kitchen or dining table just once a week. I don't.
Speaker 1:Once a week, at least once a week. Yeah, just once a week.

Speaker 1:The study I saw said that people are so busy in today's world whether it be taking kids somewhere or working over working two jobs it's hard to get the entire family together at the same time at the table.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 3:I can see why they say that In our household we try to make a point to sit at the table. Yeah, I mean, there may be like one night or two where we don't, but one of our New Year's resolutions was to come in and at least sit at the table as many nights, as we can.
Speaker 1:I think it makes a difference. When I was little, I always remember we always had dinner about 5 o'clock, or supper as we called it, and everybody usually was at the table and it became anything from fun to drama, because we're on like liver night. If you didn't clean your plates, you didn't go back outside and play in the summer and I would sit there until dark Because I just couldn't eat it.
Speaker 2:Did she ever do liver and cabbage together?
Speaker 1:Yeah, no, it got to the point that even the dog wouldn't walk over next to me. On liver night he said, no, you're not feeding me that again. I didn't fail for that once. He wouldn't even come over. I'm blaming him. That's gross, yeah, but it made a difference, having the family night, and I think that's it's.
Speaker 2:It's changed in today's world yeah, it does make a difference. I hate to say it, but the only time we all sit down together is if we go out to eat. Yeah, we don't do it at home, everybody just kind of does their thing, and then, I don't know, we eat at different times. Harlow may be hungry at four. Mayor won't be hungry until like six. Then I clean up everybody's food. I'm not hungry, I don't know. We don't do that, but we should, we should. But when we go out to eat we do. I like sitting down and eating with my girls. It feels more like family.
Speaker 1:I believe that Once a week, I think that's probably accurate.
Speaker 2:Yeah, picking teeth and cleaning fingernails are the top two personal grooming procedures that paperclips are used for Ew Paperclip yeah, you never use paperclip on your fingernails.

Speaker 3:Clean the teeth with that I've seen the older generation use knives before. They've used knives and forks.

Speaker 1:Older generation used anything they could find, because I've seen granddaddy get like a spark plug.

Speaker 1:Yeah, other than the Q-tips is not unusual.
Speaker 3:That's what they're kind of made for sort of no, we listen and we don't judge. Okay, okay, the bobby pins.

Speaker 3:It's the right size. But, be careful, don't like go too deep. You can bruise your ear hole.

Speaker 3:I would say the toiletries too, like the paper towels and toilet paper. I think, that's another one too, that people might.
Speaker 2:I think the cleaning items. What is that pink spray so good?
Speaker 3:The pink stuff Awesome Scrubbing bubbles.
Speaker 2:No, no, no, it's the pink stuff. It's awesome or something like that. I don't know. You can't get it. You can barely find it anywhere else except for the dollar stores, and it cleans everything. I, everything's everything.
Speaker 1:I feel bad for the folks working there because usually sometimes you walk in there and there's nobody up front.
Speaker 2:They're the ones stocking the back.
Speaker 1:They're also having to stock and work the front at the same time. That's tough.
Speaker 2:I know. I wonder how much they get stolen from.
Speaker 1:I don't know. I thought the same thing.
Speaker 3:I'm sure they don't care. Look, I got to get these boxes off the floor. I'd rather somebody steal.

This time it's a cat and the lamb, bagel the lamb.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh, how cute.
Speaker 1:And there's a picture of them. The reason of the couple is the sheep, slash, lamb, whatever it is is laying on the ground and the cat is sitting on top of it.
Speaker 2:Oh, it's so cute.
Speaker 1:Like it's supposed to be there.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it just fits perfect.
Speaker 1:Like they're best buddies.
Speaker 2:They are.
Speaker 1:So you can see a picture of the cat. Anyway, they've been voted the couple of the year, then the other one. This one is bizarre and I don't know what she was thinking. It could be the come on man story of the day, but you're in the ocean and you see a shark swimming by. What's your first instinct, I would think, is to get out of the water.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 1:I wouldn't think I need to walk over there and get myself a selfie with that shark.
Speaker 2:No, why would you do that?
Speaker 1:A lady did that and it did not turn out well.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1:Because what happened to her was the shark bit off both her hands.
Speaker 2:Oh both.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Not just one.
Speaker 1:According to the story, it says that the shark was around the shore for about 30, 40 minutes swimming around, so she saw it, Many people saw it. Most people got out of the water, but not her. They said that she wanted a picture made with a selfie with the shark, either in the picture or in the background. This was in Turks and Caicos and the shark attack was reported about a week ago. She was trying to take a selfie with the shark and lost both hands.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh, that is so stupid.
Speaker 1:Said she tried to engage. What does it mean, engage with the animal? Was she trying to get out there and turn it around to where it was?
Speaker 2:I don't know. I mean, how does it get both? Was her hands underwater? I don't know, Did she just jump up and chomp?
Speaker 1:I guess maybe she had one hand trying to position it or do something with it.
Speaker 2:And as it grabbed it, she might have put the other one down and trying to get it loose. Oh yeah, you got both of them. That would make sense. Imagine losing one hand and you're like oh no, my hand is gone.
Speaker 1:And then you lose two hands. You're like now, what do I do? Yeah, and the shark has them both. Yeah, she had to return home for treatment. But I mean, come on, man, what were you thinking? This is a shark.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I don't know Some people in selfies just don't think all the way through.
Speaker 1:Don't you hear a lot of injuries and even people dying? They're on, like they say, a mountain yeah. Or they're on a giant hill. They want to get as close to the edge as they can. Uh-huh, they just think you know. They slip and fall, and there they go.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Then they're gone.
